New HannsG HC194D Monitor!
December 4, 2006For the past few months I have been having problems with my monitor. It was a 17″ CRT monitor that originally came with my HP Pavilion desktop computer. I never realized how dark it was becoming until I started watching videos and my parents purchased a new computer with an LCD monitor. I realized how dark my screen was and it was really quite annoying! I would edit a photo or design a website only to look at it on another computer and see drastic differences in color. I finally found a great deal on a 19″ LCD on woot.com which is a really cool site if you’ve never heard of it! They basically sell only one product per day but they usually have really great deals on some awesome eletronics. Anyways, I quickly bought the monitor and it finally came today! MAN OH MAN! It makes such a drastic difference and makes my computer feel entirely new! I’m a very happy man right now!
Here is a picture of the monitor (Ignore the blue screen of death of course!) The monitor is extremely bright and it makes a very crisp image when running off my nVidia GeForce FX 5200 graphics card. I have it connected using a digitial connection so it looks great! The cable connectors on the back are rather hard to access but since you only usually deal with them once it isn’t a huge deal. Great monitor for the value since I got it for $110 after rebate! Gotta love woot.com! I had never heard of HannsG before but they have amazed me with this wonderful product!

desktop computers these days gets obsolete the day that they are shipped considering how fast technology updates.-;
